New Hampshire winters create the perfect conditions for ice climbs in the idyllic

White Mountains of New Hampshire. For those wishing to discover the thrill of this exhilarating and fast-growing sport, this introductory course features a great environment, furnishes all the necessary technical equipment. .

ITINERARY:
Day 1 Arriving to Boston and gear check. Enjoy a relaxing evening Boston. Exploring the historic district.

Day 2 Drive to the White Mountain area. Ice Climbing instruction begins! Learn new techniques and skills for ice climbing. Mostly instruction and easy climbing. Night in North Conway, NH.

Day 3 Practice the skills you learned yesterday and further your ice climbing techniques. Climbing attend on Mt Washington More challenging areas to climb.

Day 4th
Early morning drive to Boston

Returning flight home.

Weather
Temperatures at the climbing areas can range from the teens to the mid-40s during the day. New Hampshire’s winter weather can vary greatly, as with any mountainous area, and very cold conditions are a necessity for quality ice climbing. Trip members should arrive prepared for all possibilities by following the gear recommendations below.
