This will be an adventure trip to Bonas Defeat Gorge.
BE READY TO HIKE, CLIMB and RAPPEL WHILE IN A RIVER. YOU WILL GET WET!

COST: $90 per person.
ALL GEAR IS PROVIDE

The Bonas Defeat section of the Tuskeseegee Gorge is only 1.7 miles or so but will involve rappelling, rock climbing, rock hoping down a creek bed and some serious rock scrambling in places. It is truly a unique place though and you can be one of the few that has ever experienced it.

The area can be quite dangerous in footing and water filled rock holes to fall into and with the rock hoping, scrambling and navigation challenges this is definitely not for beginners' hikers or those not up to the adventure side of life.

You will be provide with rope, and anchor set ups,as well as regular climbing gear (harnesses and helmets) if need them.

Rope and harnesses to be able to access parts of the Gorge that may be un-accessible otherwise.

Climbing and rappelling skill will be a must here!
You will learn many new climbing and rappelling techniques!

Although this a very short hike it should take several hours due to terrain.

We will not speed through the hike taking our time to explore and enjoy the scenery of the creek and the gorge. The location is a 3 hours' drive each way. It may be a long day.

I will check water levels for the lake (dam) below which we will be hiking. Also, this event cannot be held if there is rain in the forecast for the day of the hike or if significant rain falls the days before the event date as the Gorge trail will flood.
