THIS IS A BEGINNER LEVEL TRADITIONAL ROCK-CLIMBING LEAD CLASS!
This class is for those rock climbers with top rope experience who are ready to take the "rock-fun" to a higher level and are ready to take over the wonderful world of Traditional rock climbing.

We will learn and practice the skills need to identify the best climbing routes, protection placement opportunities, and how to safe and practically establish a multiple pitch climbing belaying anchor. As well as review in detail the Climbing protection gear, how to use it and how to choose the best("Rack") set for you.

This is a 6 to 7 hours class, and the max ratio is 4 students per instructor.

Curriculum.
-Learn the gear
-Correct and safe anchoring
-Rope management
-belaying the leader
-Protection placement
-Differences between Passive and Active protection.
-The right protection to use.
-Basics of multi-pitch climbing
-Self aid and buddy care

MINIMUM SKILLS REQUIRED:
-We will be climbing one 5.6/5.7 pitch. Student will need to be able to climb this grade of rock while on TOP ROPE.
-We will be climbing 2 pitches on a 5.5/5.6 route. Student will need to be able to climb this grade of rock While LEADING.
-Need to be able to belay using a ATC and Gri-gri.

MINIMUM GEAR REQUIRED:
YOU MUST HAVE: (If not, contact us to be able to provide)
-Helmet.
-Harness.
-Rock climbing shoes.
-2 oversize carabiners.
-2 small size locking carabiners.
-2 open gate carabiners.
-ATC belay device.
-Prusik cord.

These is the minimum gear, you are encourage to bring any other practicable gear for the scoop of this class.

ALL TRAD GEAR WILL BE PROVIDED.
