  • How much prior experience does a person need for Rock Climbing or Rappelling?
    Our ROCK CLIMBING CLASS , INTRO TO ROCK CLIMBING and RAPPELLING EXPERIENCE programs are tailored to teach you all the basic you need to know to help achieve beginners goals and also help those with previous experience to hone their skills.
  • What is CAG Intro to Rock Climbing ?
    Carolina Adventure Guides Intro to rock climbing class teaches basic knots, climbing techniques, safety practices , climbing terms, and more. Ideal for those who are curious to try this amazing sport. You will be oriented and directed as to how to Rock climb on a TOP ROPE setting on a friendly and safe way. By the end of the day you will have a good understanding of the technical aspect of rock climbing. All gear will be provided.
  • What is the Minimum age for Climbing or Rappelling?
    6 years old. Need to be in the company of a responsible adult and fill up our Liability waiver
  • What is the weight limit for this activities?
    There is none. All our Gear is rated to at least 1700 pounds. Our ropes are rated for 4,400 pounds on the conservative side.
  • What types of clothing and footwear does someone need for rappelling / climbing?
    Appropriate dress is comfortable "quick dry" athletically fit to the body outdoor/sports clothing.
  • What type of shoes should I bring?
    Comfortable sturdy footwear such as closed toe "keen" style sandals or trail shoes/sneakers are appropriate. Hiking boots are not necessary and may be difficult to climb in. Please no flip-flops. You DO NOT need climbing specific shoes for this event, but if you have them, they will be helpful during the climb.
  • What happen if it rains?
    In the event of Rain , the outing will be cancel of postpone to a later time of the day or a later date. In the case of It to be cancel and reschedule for a later date the participant will have the opportunity to re book to any Open Date of their convenience .
  • Tipping
    In the Outdoor Adventure Industry Tips are not expected but they are appreciated. It is a personal decision
