Join us to enhance our rock-climbing skill and let`s learn the proper and safe way to set up Top rope anchors for Rock Climbing. We will go over a variety of forms and ways to create a good and practical "anchor" with all the qualities to make it "safe to climb".

Topics we will cover:

-Difference among anchors and anchors gear.

-Artificial & Natural anchoring.

-Elongation, extension and redundancy.

-Safe and practical anchors.

-Pre-Equalize anchors

-Unsafe and marginal anchors.

 

OBJECTIVE: By the end of this class the student will be competitive and confident to created a natural or artificial anchor setting for Rock climbing on Top Rope rock - Single pitch.

---WE WILL BE COVERING TOP ROPE / INTERMEDIATE ANCHORS AND RAPPELLING ANCHORS

 

All levels are welcome to this event. All gear for top rope settings will be provided. Plus harnesses and helmets if you need them. But the student are encourage to bring their own gear to recognize and learn to use the tools at your disposition. Climb on :)
