When winter completely sets in North Carolina its offers some of the best ice you can find, creating beautiful and rare walls, pillars and formations that give the outdoor enthusiastic a great climbing opportunity and an amazing outdoor adventure experience like none other.

Come and learn the basic skill and how to about Ice climbing in North Carolina. Enjoy North Carolina diversity of climate. We are having great ice climbing conditions.
Ice climbing let you combine the element of Rock Climbing in a winter environment using Mountaineering tools as an extension of you.

This event is for beginners with none or little experience. You will learn the basic gear, how to use it effectively and how to use the right climbing technique in ice.

All gear will be provide. All you need to bring is your personal winter cloth,water and food. Down jacket, waterproof pants and shell.

EVENT GEAR LIST:
ALL TECHNICAL GEAR WILL BE PROVIDE!
YOU WILL NEED:
-Long underwear. Top and Bottom.
-Wool socks. - Ski sock would do.
-Termo- insulated pants and sweater.
-Waterproof / wind proof shell. Top.
-Sturdy boots. -Mountaineering boots if you have them.
-Down jacket with a hood.
-Pair of heavy gloves.
-Ski goggles.
-Balaclava or hoody.
