* What is the difference between rappelling and rock climbing?
In ROCK CLIMBING the participant  uses climbing techniques and gear  to scale a rock wall . the aim is to climb a natural rock formation by mean of technique. At the end of the climb , using an intermediate anchor the process repeat on a higher wall or as in Top Rope Climbing the climber is lower down to the ground  by mean of a belayer.
In RAPPELLING the participant  abseil down a rock wall on a control manner by mean of a rope. The aim is to descent a high position in a control manner using only one solid point of protection .
